Dear Parents,

What a busy weekend!  I hope that you were able to come and see the play.  It was AWESOME!!!  I am so proud of the kids!  Happy Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there!  

This week begins the craziness of the end of the year!  Hold on to your britches...  here we go!

Monday:  Super hero/Disney character day  Hope to see some awesome costumes!  :)

Tuesday:  regular day; DON'T forget your SCRIP order!  :)

Wednesday:  Mass at 8:45, please join us if you can!  The 8th graders go to LaFollette to the 8th grade track meet.  We have careers class with Mr. Schuster.

Thursday:  Practice for the spring concert (in the morning); Safety patrol trip to the Dells

Friday:  Safety patrol trip to the Dells

The pig dissection has gone great so far!  I am soooooo proud of all of the students.  Please feel free to stop in to check them out.  We work on them Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-9:10 and Wednesday from 12:40-1:20.  Again, they have truly blown me away with their maturity and responsibility!

Upcoming Info:

*Spring concert (mandatory attendance for all students) on Tuesday, May 20th

*News articles are due Wednesday, May 22nd.  The students only have to complete 4 articles this quarter

*Home and School Association / Parent Meetings on Wednesday, May 22

*Reading binder due for my reading class on Thursday, May 22

*No school on the May 23 and May 25

*All students wear uniforms for all school picture; 8th grade graduation (see info below) Tuesday, May 27th

*PIG TEST, Thursday, May 29th

*Field Day, Friday, May 30th

*8th grade rocket launch, Tuesday, June 3rd at 1pm

*End of the year trip to Devil's Lake, Thursday, June 5th (PLEASE join us if you are able!!!)

*Last day of the year, Friday, June 6th

***8th grade Graduation requirements***

All 7th graders and at least 1 parent are required to help with the celebration after the graduation mass.  Mrs. Rodwell came in and visited with the students on Friday.  She will be back in again this week and next week to help answer questions.  PLEASE call or email her with questions.  Students should be wearing all black that evening.
